Call for Tutorials
The conference organisers will offer to IECON 2017 participants several high quality tutorials on topics relevant to the conference's main subject areas, at no additional charge.
All tutorials are expected to be half-day (three hours) long. Potential tutorial speakers are asked to submit by May 15, 2017, a proposal according to the instructions. Proposals must be sent to the tutorial chairs, listed below:
Roberto Oboe (University of Padova, Italy): Email: email@example.com
Ligang Wu (Harbin Institute of Technology, China): Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Lei Guo (Beihang University, China): Email: email@example.com
The tutorials will be selected based on merit, as well as relevance to technical areas which are of interest to the Industrial Electronics Society.
Successful tutorial speakers will be notified by 15 June 2017 and will be asked to prepare and submit to the Tutorial Chairs, by 1 August 2017, a PDF electronic version of their presentation materials, for distribution to tutorial participants.
Please be aware that, at the time of registration, IECON 2017 participants will be asked to register to one or more Tutorials. Only those tutorials with at least 20 registered participants will be actually held and rewarded with a 600 USD honorarium, to be shared among the speakers.
For Tutorial proposals a single-blind review process will be followed. This means that the reviewer’s identity will be concealed from the author but the reviewer will see the identity of the proposer/author.
Proposers/authors are reminded that they should ONLY submit a proposal using this template. Submissions of only abstracts or presentations are NOT acceptable and will not be reviewed.
